Usually a firm or a crew that already has the people and the drawings. The machine is needed for one stage, and buying one for that makes no sense.
Excavator and tipper
The foundation pit is dug once, and so is the hard standing. For those weeks you take the excavator and the tipper; after that the site moves on to concrete and blockwork without them.
Backhoe loader
One house needs a machine several times: for the footings, the services and the yard. You take it for the days of each stage, and in between the crew gets on with the walls and the roof.
Backhoe loader or excavator
The trench moves forward day by day, leaving laid pipe or cable behind it. The machine digs at the front and backfills at the back, so it stays with you until the whole line is closed.
Roller and tipper
Stone goes down in several layers, and each must be compacted before the next covers it. The tipper and the roller work as a pair right up to the last layer.
Every machine comes with the person who works it. Take the one this stage needs; when the next begins, the low loader takes it away and brings the right one.
It drives on wheels from one end of the site to the other: it loads, levels with the front bucket and digs trenches with the rear arm. On a long site there is nearly always something for it to do.
For large volumes of soil: the foundation pit, a basement, deep trenches for services. It loads straight into the tipper, so no spoil heaps grow where they block the site.
It compacts soil, sand and stone under hard standing, car parks and site roads. It goes over each layer as soon as that layer has been brought in and spread.
On a big site it runs trip after trip: soil out of the pit and, when needed, sand, gravel or stone bought from us coming in. It takes up to 20 tonnes at a time.
It brings the machine to the site at the start, takes it away at the end and moves it between your firm’s sites if you work in more than one place.
When a machine stays with you for several days, the day it arrives matters less than how it fits around the rest of the work.
Tell us when the stage starts and how long you think it will take. We put those days down in your firm’s name, so the machine is not sent to another site in the meantime.
The operator takes his work from the person you name: the site manager, the foreman or the engineer. That way he never hears two opinions about the same pit.
The concrete is late, it rains for a week, the drawings change. Call as soon as you know, and we move the machine’s days as close to the new programme as we can.
After the pit comes the hard standing, after that the road. The low loader takes away the machine that has done its part and brings the next, so you are not looking for another firm.
Working in two places? The machine moves on our low loader from one site to the other, say from Râșcani to Peresecina, and you leave the move to us.

Yes, on the low loader, within the city or to another district. Give us the second site’s address in good time, so the move falls on a day when the first site no longer needs the machine.
A road the low loader can use and firm ground where the machine comes off it. Existing services are marked from the drawings, and the operator is met by the person who will give him his work.
Yes, in our tipper, on the day your programme sets, for example sand for the pipe bedding just before the trench is backfilled. We have sand and gravel mix, washed sand, crushed stone, gravel, quarry stone and crushed granite.
